“Participation of HBI in the project “The Greek Living Earth””

HBI participates as a partner in the recently approved project “The Greek Living Earth” with a budget of 1.800.000€.

The project aims to create a national digital infrastructure for the integration and analysis of Earth observation data from heterogeneous sources. The aim is to improve sustainable environmental management and tackle climate change, with a focus on carbon intensive agriculture.

Our human resources will contribute to the implementation of the project by undertaking:

– Overall project management.
– The implementation of publicity and outreach/promotional activities in order to orient the project in an outward-looking way.
– The development of the certification methodology.

In addition, our company is going to contribute to the development of a Data Cube coming from satellites, ground sensors and drones which will be located in the infrastructure of the University of Ioannina.
