The Action “CUTTING-EDGE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF SMEs” is one of the three distinct actions of the “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SME” package, which aim to address the lag of Greek businesses in the adoption and integration of modern digital technologies in their productive activity.

 

The total budget of the Action is 60.000.000 €.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

An enterprise may apply for inclusion in the Action when it meets the following conditions:

  • Have at least one (1) full closed fiscal year before the date of electronic submission of the application for funding.
  • Be substantially active in one (1)  of the eligible IDs of business activities of the Call, before the date of electronic submission of the application for funding. The eligible IDs of business activity must exist before the date of submission.
  • Have at least nine (9) full-time or part-time employees in the calendar year preceding the submission of the application for funding.
  • Operate legally with the appropriate operating license.
  • Only one Region should be declared as the place/places for the implementation of the activities of the Action.
  • Be registered in the Registry of Beneficial Owners before the date of submission of the application for funding.
  • In the event of an application for funding under the General Exemption Regulation scheme, it must ensure private participation in at least 25% of the investment project budget.

 

PROJECT BUDGET & DURATION OF IMPLEMENTATION

Minimum possible budget: 200.001,00€

Maximum possible budget: 1.200.000,00€*

The duration of the implementation of the Action is eighteen (18) months from the date of publication of the Decision of Inclusion of each project.

* Should not exceed three times the highest turnover achieved in one of three fiscal years (or less if the enterprise does not have three), of the year preceding the submission of the application for funding up to a maximum of €1.200.000,00.

 

AID INTENSITY

The rates of aid for investment projects (choice between de minimis and General Exemption Regulation) and the private participation of the aid beneficiary for the total amplified costs of the investment projects under the financing scheme are as follows:

The starting date for eligibility of expenditure is defined as the date of submission of the application for funding.

 

 

EVALUATION METHOD

The starting date for applications is next Thursday 23/02/2023 at 12:00.

The evaluation of the applications will be immediate (First in First Out) and the investment projects will be examined according to the order they are submitted until the budget of the Action per category of Region is exhausted, taking into account scored criteria.
