The Action aims to provide motivation for investments, financial growth, develop knowledge and innovation, business competitiveness increase, employment of top-level scientific staff and connection between academic and production sectors.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Funding Applications must belong to one of the four following sections:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>Research<\/span> and<\/span> Development<\/span> from<\/span> businesses<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 <\/strong>Collusion of Businesses and Research Organizations<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

III. <\/strong>Utilization of research results<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IV. <\/strong>Seal of Excellence for businesses<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Potential beneficiaries of the Action are: a) Businesses and other organizations treated as businesses and b) Research organizations and other organizations treated as research organizations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Terms<\/span><\/b> and<\/span><\/b> Conditions<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For businesses and other organizations treated as businesses:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Businesses must be already existing for at least one full (annual) tax year. Businesses of section IV are excluded from this condition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Businesses must be registered in Beneficial Owners Registry (except for individual businesses) before the Funding Application\u2019s date of submission.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Big-sized businesses can only participate in the Action if they are members of collaborations that includes at least one SME.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The requested budget of a business cannot surpass 60% of the highest turnover achieved in one of the last three tax years before the year of the Funding Application\u2019s submission. Businesses of section IV are excluded from this condition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Businesses must hold at least 30% of the requested budget.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Funding must have incentive effect for the business. (Regards section IV) Crucial check date is the date of the application\u2019s submission of the original proposal that received the Seal of Excellence in the Action \u201cHorizon Europe\u201d.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. (Regards section IV) The organization\u2019s ID in OPSKE must be the same with the business that received the Seal of Excellence in the Action \u201cHorizon Europe\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    For research organizations<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Separate accounting project\u2019s monitoring and separate accounting monitoring of non-economic and (should they exist) economic activities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Their primary purpose must be teaching and education, independent conduction of basic research, industrial research or experimental development for furthermore knowledge and better comprehension.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. They must anticipate wide spread of the results in all-inclusive and without distinctions teaching, databases, publications or open-source software.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Total profit from knowledge transfer activities must be reinvested in the research organization\u2019s main activities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For other organizations treated as research organizations:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Can be Public Services, Public Entities, Private Entities and Charitable Foundations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Their main activities cannot be profitable.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Their Article of Incorporation must anticipate the activity of research.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. They must anticipate wide spread of the results in all-inclusive and without distinctions teaching, databases, publications or open-source software.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

            The expenditures eligibility date is the date of the Application\u2019s submission while, beneficiaries can implement the Action\u2019s expenditures in no more than 36 months, given that time extension can be granted equal to 12 months.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
